DOP HABANOS [DOP HABANOS]

The Regulatory Council for the Protected Denomination of Origin (D.O.P.) for Habanos and other Cuban tobacco denominations is the body that unifies all the organisations in Cuba that have the responsibility for the standards of production applied throughout the tobacco industry from the farms to the finished boxes. It comprises the following organizations: Association Nacional de Agricultores PequeÐos  (ANAP), la Empresa de Acopio y Beneficio del Tabaco, el Instituto de Investigaciones del Tabaco  Cubatabaco and Habanos s.a.
