Discontinued Production Cigars
Discontinued production cigars are standard cigars that have been officially confirmed by Habanos SA as discontinued.
For older cigars, the date shown as discontinued does not necessarily indicate commercial availability up to that time, as many of these cigars ceased being made long before being officially discontinued.
Recently discontinued cigars tend to remain commercially available for only a short time.  Some cigars discontinued around 2002/3 have appeared with a box code a year after the date the cigar was officially cancelled, as the cigars were not boxed until later.
Many discontinued cigars can be obtained (at a premium) in the vintage cigar market.
